Values

Some might wonder why I would include a page on values. Much of who I am is due not to the education I have gained or the experiences that I've had, but rather the values I hold sacred. I am a man of faith that places God and Family before all other aspects of my life. No offense is meant to anyone that may not share the same religious convictions that I hold to be true, I simply feel that my beliefs directly impact the way I interact with others.

Faith

I recognize Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior. I am a Christian that views religion as something more than a way of thinking that we may align with, it is something that we live. I'm active in my worship, service, and participation in the Church of Jesus Christ of Later-day Saints.

I grew up in the Baptist church and was about as engaged in the church as a youth could be. While in college, I called myself a "Roam-an", because I would attend many different churches. I found that if Christ was at the center, I was in a good place. When my wife (the first member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Later-day Saints I had ever met) and I got married we would attend separate churches. It took 13 years of investigating a church, that I had been at one time told to stay away from, before I joined. I've never regretted the decision.

I'm open about my faith and will discuss it with anyone that is interested.

Family

Although this site maybe void of any family photos it is only to protect a family that I hold sacred. I have been blessed to have an amazing wife that I love with all my being. She is my best friend, my confidant, the mother of our children, and my greatest supporter. She regularly sacrifices her time and talents for her family, friends, and often even a complete stranger.

My wife and I have five daughters that are incredible in their own right. They have consistently made the kind of choices that a mother and father would hope that their children would make. These daughters are now finishing college, beginning their own families, and blessing us with grandchildren that we are doing our best to spoil.

Family is and always will be a top priority.
